About My Skin Care Management System

The Jan Marini Skin Care Management System has been custom-tailored to suit any skin type or goal to produce the greatest measurable benefits. Everyone has their own unique skin characteristics. As a result, one person’s response to a skin care program may differ from another’s even if their skin type or goals are similar. Although each Skin Care Management System has been designed to address specific needs, a program may need to be modified from time to time. Most individuals will experience a period of “skin acclimation.” This means that the skin may need to adjust to topical agents designed to bring about beneficial changes. This adjustment period is typically brief, and skin improvements should be noticeable within a short period of time. Some mild stinging may occur when applying glycolic acid-based products. This is normal and should decrease as the skin adjusts. Any initial discomfort may lessen by waiting 5 to 10 minutes after cleansing before application of products. Some mild redness and/or flaking may also occur in the early stages of the program. This is normal and will lessen rapidly. If excessive burning, redness or irritation occurs, temporarily discontinue use and contact us immediately.
